For the purpose of MAS Notice 607, the home country of CIMB Bank Berhad (i.e. Malaysia) does not require its head office to confer a lower priority to depositors of the foreign offices of CIMB Bank Berhad (including its Singapore branch), vis-à-vis the home country depositors, in the repayment of deposits in the event of receivership, winding up proceedings or equivalent proceedings of CIMB Bank Berhad.

Bagi tujuan Notis 607 MAS, negara asal CIMB Bank Berhad (iaitu Malaysia) tidak memerlukan ibu pejabatnya untuk memberi keutamaan lebih rendah kepada penyimpan dari pejabat luar negara CIMB Bank Berhad (termasuk cawangannya di Singapura), berbanding penyimpan dari negara asal, dalam pembayaran semula deposit sekiranya berlaku keadaan bank berada dalam kuasa pihak penerima, prosiding pembubaran atau prosiding setara bagi CIMB Bank Berhad.
