4 Steps to Claim Car Insurance With Us

Step 1

If you are making an Own Damage or Third Party claim, you can approach our ExcelDrive workshop for their assistance to e-file your report.

Step 2 You must submit your Own Damage claim within 14 days after a loss has happened.
Step 3 Download a claim form here.
Step 4 Email claimsreport@sompo.com.sg to make a Loss of Use or Windscreen claim.

Eligibility For Our CIMB Car Insurance


The Main Insured Driver:

- Must have at least 1 year of driving experience in Singapore
- Must not have more than 1 claim for the past 3 years
- Total claim amount must not exceed S$30,000 for the past 3 years

How do I submit an Accident Report after a motor accident?


If your motor vehicle is involved in an accident, regardless if it would give rise to an insurance claim, you must:

 

1. Report the accident, loss or damage to Sompo or one of the Approved Accident Reporting Centres within 24 hours of the accident or the next working day.  Failing which, your NCD will be reduced by 10%.
 

2. Ensure your motor vehicle is available for inspection at an Approved Accident Reporting Centre, regardless if your motor vehicle has suffered any visible damage or regardless if you plan to claim under your own policy or against any other person(s).
